COMMERCIAL ELECTRICAL SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Responsibilities include:

  1. Excellent customer service skills.

  2. 5 years or more of Commercial/Industrial work experience.

  3. Completion of an electrical apprentice program is a plus.

  4. Good trouble-shooting skills

  5. Good working knowledge of all aspects of Commercial/Industrial electrical equipment.

  6. Good working knowledge of transformers, contactors & motor starters. PLC experience is a plus.

  7. Preventative maintenance knowledge of industrial air compressors, overhead cranes, industrial metal cutting saws, electrical distribution equipment.

  8. Bucket Truck experience or the willingness to be trained to use a bucket truck.

  9. All applicants must have a good driving record and be willing to take and pass a drug test.

 

COMMERCIAL ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR/PROJECT MANAGER

Responsibilities include:

  1. Estimate commercial and light industrial projects.

  2. Project management to include: purchasing, scheduling, submittals, billings, cost monitoring, customer service and job close-out.

  3. Creating satisfied customers is a top priority at Reliable.

  4. Must be willing to follow established procedures, while making the project meet or beat estimates.

  5. A positive attitude is a must in order to motivate the field team.

  6. 2-5 years estimating experience. Computer estimating software experience is a plus.

  7. Possess complete understanding of construction sequencing and building processes.

  8. Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

  9. High School graduate or GED, Trade School a plus.

  10. Know the National Electrical Code.

  11. Computer skills (Excel, Word, Access and estimating software experience).

  12. Trade References (General Contractors)

WAREHOUSE - PURCHASING/INVENTORY & TOOL CONTROL
  1. Full – time position

  2. Inventory tools – distribute and recover tools from jobsites

  3. Verify that tools are in good working order - replace defective tools

  4. Purchase Materials – Negotiate Prices – Expedite Orders – Verify Pricing – Handle Returns

  5. Provide materials and tools required by job Foremen

  6. Should have some knowledge of electrical materials and construction techniques

  7. Must be a self-starter and able to plan his/her own work.

  8. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

  9. This is a “hands on” position requiring physical labor as well as computer skills.

  10. Must have a clean driving record.

  11. Minimum High School degree or GED, Trade School a plus

  12. Computer Skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Access)
